St Bart's in Shapwick is to host another exciting and unusual weekend amid the ancient ambience of our 12th century church grounds on the beautiful banks of the River Stour on Saturday and Sunday 25th and 26th June, 2011, between 11:00am and 6:00pm.
A major attraction of the weekend will be the live sculpting by 14 sculptors, each creating individual works of art as part of an installation to be exhibited at the end of the weekend. During the weekend there will be various artists and artisans exhibiting and selling their original handcrafted pieces in our marquees. An art exhibition and photograph gallery will be inside St Bart's.
On the river bank, there will be entertainments for all with live music on both days. Refreshments will be available throughout the weekend. Including a Pimm's tent, Dorset cream teas, sandwich bar, beer and cider tent etc.
